President also proposed to increase the amount of the personal income tax social deduction for the cost of educating children from the current 50,000 rubles to 110,000 rubles per year, and the deduction for the cost of own education, as well as for medical treatment and the purchase of medicines - from 120 thousand to 150 thousand rubles.
Since February 1, the maternity capital amount has been indexed by 11.9%. Residents of new regions also have the right to such a measure, and the President proposed extending this right to all children born since 2007, as had been previously done in relation to Crimea.
